Registering an Echo Account

 
Registering a Lexacom Echo account is required to use Lexacom Echo; each Lexacom Talk user requires their own Lexacom Echo account as this is used to manage corrections that improve the accuracy of the system. 
 
Registering an Echo Account

Click the Create New tab

Click the Create New tab to create a new Lexacom Echo account.

Enter an Email Address

2. Enter an Email Address
Enter an email address for the Lexacom Echo account. By default this field will populate with the Group Administrator's email address, though there is no requirement to use the same email address.

Enter and Confirm a Password

3. Enter and Confirm a Password
Enter and confirm a password, which must be a minimum of 8 characters and contain at least one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character.

Select Gender

4. Select Gender
Select the Talk user's gender, as an aid to the system interpreting the user's dictations. If the user would prefer not to specify a gender, select 'Gender Independent'. Selecting a gender will boost the initial accuracy of Lexacom Echo, but long-term accuracy will not be affected if Gender Independent is selected.

Click the Create button

Click the Create button to create the account.
 
 
An automatic email will be sent to the email address. Follow the link in the activation email to complete activation of the Lexacom Echo account.
