Keyboard Shortcuts and Special Terms

 
Lexacom Echo supports a number of keyboard shortcuts when using Lexacom Echo without a button-controlled microphone. Lexacom Echo also includes a range of special terms to punctuate and format the dictation.

Insert a literal word
Literal “word” (Word is the word you would like to write – for example comma instead of ,)
Insert a numeral number
Numeral “number” (where number is the number you would like to write, so 5 instead of Five)
No space before next word

Capitalise the first letter of the word
Caps “Word” (where word is the word you’d like to capitalise)
Capitalise all the letters of the word
All Caps “Word” (Where word is the word you’d like to capitalise)
Navigate to next Anchor

Select Dictated Text
Select “Word” (where “word” is the text you would like to select/highlight).
Resolve select command should multiple words be selected
