Creating an Echo Account

 
Each group requires an administrative Lexacom Echo account to coordinate billing and act as a point of contact for Lexacom Echo. This account is functionally identical to the Lexacom Echo Accounts of Lexacom Talk users, and may be used as such.
 
Creating an Echo Account

Enable Echo

1. Enable Echo
If unchecked, tick the checkbox to enable Lexacom Echo. This checkbox will be ticked by default in all new installations of Lexacom.

Select the Echo Mode

2. Select the Echo Mode
Click the 'Use Lexacom Echo Online' option for the Lexacom Echo mode unless explicitly told otherwise by the Lexacom Support team.

Click the Create New tab

Click the Create New tab to create a new Lexacom Echo account.

Enter an Email Address

4. Enter an Email Address
Enter an email address for the Lexacom Echo account. By default this field will populate with the Group Administrator's email address.

Enter and Confirm a Password

Enter and confirm a password, which must be a minimum of 8 characters and contain at least one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character.

Select User's Gender

6. Select User's Gender
Select the gender for the user, as an aid to the system interpreting the user's dictations. If the Echo Administrator's account will not be an author of dictation, or if the user would prefer not to specify a gender, select 'Gender Independent'.

Click the Create button

Click the Create button to create the account.
